This is a Sharp Innova that I'd half forgotten I had. I bought it about 23years ago from a friend. It was last used around 15 years ago? And it shot fine then. I went to test it before advertising it and it seems to pump fine and gives resistance and: it dry fired without a pellet in it. But when I put a pellet in, it just went "phut" and nothing came out. Pump & tried again a few times & still the same. Then I pumped it 3 times, pulled the trigger and it sounded as it should & fired the pellet out. I pumped it another 3 times, put a pellet in & it fired it 1st time fine.. I tried again and "Phut" nothing came out. I pumped and fired until the pellet eventually came out.. A very helpful member on Pigeonwatch advised me to clean the barrel and lube the probe o-ring. I did this & bang!. - It's working fine. I fired 10 pellets at a target.. - Haven't chrono'd It and it could probably benefit from the probe oring being replaced. It's a very early (no safety) Made in Japan Sharp Innova .22 Appears very good condition for it's age, with a bit of pitting on the cylinder under the barrel. It has a very time period fitting - Nikko Sterling Electro-Sight 4x40. I haven't tested the illumination (will try to find batteries) It's like an odd panoramic view, like an old TV screen! Lol I can't find one an early Japanese one with no safety lile this - for sale to compare to. Though I did find the same scope for sale for £80. These are fantastic little guns & seem to be very desirable and the early Mk1's without the safety catch seem to be rare. I originally posted it for £270 on pigeonwatch. But someone can have a bargain at £200. Collection from South Wales preferred, or could post if needed.
