This rifle is presented in the R8 Professional sporter stock, with a factory .223 17mm barrel, threaded 15x1 and a Mini bolt head. The Blaser R8 is one of the most popular straight pull hunting rifles in the UK, due to their excellent build quality and their innovative barrel change system. Rather than carry several rifles into the field, the shooter can change calibres quickly and easily by swapping barrels. When changing between calibre family, the bolt head will have to be changed, but this is still an easy process. The standard weight Blaser barrel results in a light and easy to control rifle that is the perfect companion for long hunting trips over rough terrain. The sporter stock also helps keep weight down by reducing the overall size of the stock compared to the larger thumbhole stocks. With the same finish as the more expensive Pro Success, the Professional is a rifle that will last for years to come.
