This is one step down from a true number 2, with slightly less engraving, a simpler trigger guard, a concealed third bite, slightly more weight, and tighter chokes. Oil finished one piece straight hand stock finished with carved drop points and accompanied by a slim matching game style forend with a blued push road release catch and forend tip. Half engraved action and lock plates retaining some hardening colour, the action is set alongside a pair of well balanced 28" fixed choke barrels of which both bores are in excellent condition with no signs of pitting or damage, with a concealed third bite.
