This is a second hand AYA No.2 Sidelock Ejector 20 bore with 26” barrels choked at Cylinder & 1/4 - a perfect choice for a mixture of driven partridge and pheasant shooting locally or further afield. The balance of this gun is excellent, the handling is reasonably lively but there is enough weight to steady the swing on longer shots. This gun would be capable of comfortably firing 28gr cartridges in 2 3/4" cases making it suitable for taller game too. Moving forwards there will be a range of suitable non-lead cartridge options for the gun. The overall condition is good - the attractive silver scroll engraved action is tight, the stock is in reasonably tidy condition with just the odd small mark showing - the LOP has been extended to 15 1/2” with a nicely fitted wooden extension. The barrels are clean internally and externally the blueing is good although it is thinning at the end of the muzzle. Part exchange welcome.
